Powerful but elegant wine, which for its price range comes up with an impressive complexity. Fruity nose of plums and raisins with delicate tobacco notes. Slender entry in the mouth, then spreads slowly but steadily, leaving behind a slightly furry aroma of black olives. This fur softens after a prolonged “breathing phase” to a harmonious and long-lasting aftertaste reminiscent of pickled stone fruit. Decanting is certainly recommended.
Food: Main courses of the holiday kitchen
